The feature was added in every Office 2010 product after users have been reporting unknown binary file format attacks to predecessor applications such as Microsoft Office 97 all the way up to Office 2003. These attacks were able to put malware on your device through the vulnerabilities of applications such as Excel 2003, Word 2003, or PowerPoint 2003.

You can remove the MathType tab by simply deselecting the checkbox to the left of MathType Commands 2016.dotm, but that will remove it only temporarily. The tab will be there again next time you launch Word. To remove it permanently, you must remove the file from that location. You can do so by moving it to another location if you want, but when we have a Catalina-compatible version of MathType, it will add whatever files it needs to the proper locations so there's no need to save it unless you really want to.
You'll notice there's also a "MathType.bundle" file in the folder. Deleting that file will neither help nor hurt. Simply deleting the "MathType Commands" file is what will remove the MathType tab from the ribbon.

Whereas osmotic shock was known to be efficient at opening or lysing mammalian cells, there was no suggestion in the available state of the art of using in combination an osmotic shock and one or more detergents to lyse mammalian cells. Example DD, as submitted with the letter of 24 February 2010, showed that the combined use of an osmotic shock and of one or more detergents was associated with an unexpected improved detection of microorganisms in comparison with the use of either an osmotic shock or a detergent alone.

Since the main request was filed in direct reaction to objections under Article 84 EPC 1973 raised by the board at the oral proceedings against the appellant's previous main request of 24 February 2010, the board using its discretionary power under Article 13(1) RPBA decided to admit it into the proceedings.
5.1 On page 68, it is stated that nonbacterial ATP in the sample, including intracellular ATP from eukaryotic cells, must be removed prior to bacterial ATP extraction and assay, the removal comprising in a preferred embodiment a selective chemical lysis of nonbacterial cells by using a detergent such as Triton X-100 followed by the addition of an ATPase to hydrolyse the freed ATP.
5.2 On page 72, an assay is described which incorporates such a treatment. The mammalian cells contained in a sample fluid, which passes readily through a filter with minimal damage to the bacteria, are lysed by adding to the sample an amount of Triton X-100 (also denoted "TX" in the document, see page 71, third line) and an active ATP-hydrolysing enzyme solution (known as "apyrase"; see the paragraph beginning with the term "Apyrase" on page 70). The sample is incubated 15 minutes for ATP hydrolysis, filtered on a 0,22 mym membrane and washed. The filter is then treated with an extracting agent to remove bacterial ATP from the bacteria retained on its surface. The extract is collected as filtrate, an aliquot of which is assayed by injection of a luciferase enzyme preparation (see page 72, first three paragraphs).
21. None of the available prior art describes the use of an osmotic shock for lysing mammalian cells, let alone in combination with one or more detergents. Furthermore, the results of Example DD, as submitted with the letter of 24 February 2010 (see pages 16 and 17 thereof), show an unexpected higher detection of the contaminating microorganisms when one or two detergents are used in combination with an osmotic shock compared to the detection of the same when the lysis is obtained upon either an osmotic shock or the action of one or more detergents alone.

The Cambodian Human Rights and Development Association (ADHOC) reported 18 arbitrary killings, seven of which allegedly were committed by police, three by soldiers, one by a military police officer, and the remaining seven by local-level government officials. Police arrested suspects in at least four cases.
There were no developments in the following cases: the April 2008 death of Buern Soksina, who was shot and killed by a police officer during a motorcycle chase in Preah Vihear Province; the April 2008 death of a villager who died after sustaining severe head injuries from a beating allegedly by security forces during an eviction in Preah Vihear Province; and the October 2008 death of a bystander who was killed when a military police officer reportedly opened fire on a crowd.
An investigation continued into the November 2008 death of Heng Touch, who died after sustaining injuries in prison under suspicious circumstances. In March the Phnom Penh Municipal Court summoned the victim's family, two prison officers, and a prison doctor for questioning, but at year's end no charges had been filed.
ADHOC reported at least 103 cases of illegal arrest or detention during the year. ADHOC stated that victims in 43 illegal detention cases subsequently were freed following detainee complaints, interventions by human rights NGOs, or payment of bribes. ADHOC believed that the actual number of arbitrary arrests and detentions was somewhat higher, because some victims in rural areas did not file complaints due to difficulty in traveling to the NGO's offices or out of fear for their family's security. According to ADHOC, authorities took no legal or disciplinary actions against the persons responsible for the illegal detentions.
The General Commissariat of the National Police, which is under the supervision of the MOI, manages all civilian police units. The police forces are divided into those who have the authority to make arrests, those without such authority, and the judicial police. Military police are permitted to arrest civilians if the officers meet the training and experience requirements to serve as judicial police, if civilians are on military property, or when authorized by local governments.
On March 22, commune policeman Thoeun Hok opened fire on a crowd of villagers from Chi Kraeng commune in Siem Reap Province, wounding two villagers. Another unnamed police officer shot and wounded a third villager. The provincial governor had sent the officers in a mixed group of armed forces including district police, military police, and soldiers to remove the villagers from a disputed piece of farmland. Provincial authorities first detained the wounded but then took them to a hospital approximately three hours after the shooting occurred.
